Executive Chef Chris Moore is no stranger to the culinary world with over twenty years of progressive and innovative experience. She was awarded the Stars of the Industry “Best New Culinarian” award in 2021 and has worked under three James Beard award-winning chefs.
Her career in the restaurant industry was formed while working as an entry-level cook at the Hilton hotel in Toledo, Ohio. While learning the culinary craft, Chef Chris became enamored with the story of food; reinventing recipes passed through generations of personal stories with a “ thoughtful, approachable, and regionally sustained” spin.
After pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts from Kendall College in Chicago, she traveled the country learning regional food in Atlanta, Upstate New York, Milwaukee, and Portland before joining the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
Outside of work, Chef enjoys watching Chicago Cubs games with her dog, Berg, and her cat, Sheffield, or listening to her extensive collection of vinyl records.
